UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter Live Ratings Slightly Up In Week Three

In what has become an obsessive exercise for some wishing to point to weekly ratings as a litmus test for organizational health, the ratings came out for week three of The Ultimate Fighter Live on FX and were slightly up.

Week three garnered 1.2 million viewers, a smidge up from week 2’s 1.1 million and a smidge down from the 1.3 that the two hour premiere brought in. This is the UFC’s first season bringing their flagship reality show to an outlet other than Spike TV.

This season features one live fight every week with supporting footage filmed the prior week, giving the show more of an unpredictable feel. The next week’s fight is also selected at the end of every show, giving fans and media a chance to research, debate and talk about what could happen.

Week three featured Justin Lawrence earning a second round KO win over Cristiano Marcello, picking up the second straight win for coach Dominick Cruz’s team. Next week, Cruz team member Myles Jury faces Urijah Faber charge Al Iaquinta.
