The annual Independence Day card will take place this year on July 7th. UFC 148 is already shaping up nicely with two solid middleweight bouts, a third bout between two light heavyweight superstars, and a bantamweight bout that could decide the next title contender. The expected main event, a third bout between UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber, hasn’t yet been confirmed by the promotion but is widely expected to be announced any day now. The two men are the coaches on The Ultimate Fighter Live as well, which should add some tension to a fight between two guys that don’t like each other to start with. Here’s how the card looks as of right now:

July 7th, live on PPV from Las Vegas, NV:

Dominick Cruz (19-1) vs. Urijah Faber (26-5) [BW Title] **Not Official

Tito Ortiz (16-10-1) vs. Forrest Griffin (18-7)

Rich Franklin (28-6, 1 NC) vs. Cung Le (7-2)

Michael Bisping (22-4) vs. Tim Boetsch (15-4)

Jeff Hougland (10-4) vs. Renan Barao (28-1, 1 NC)
