Cyborg Santos Says Ronda Rousey Talks Too Much, Ready for Hiroko Yamanaka

Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos won the Strikeforce women’s featherweight championship all the way back in August of 2009 against Gina Carano. What seemed like a star that would be hard to keep off your TV turned into a somewhat disappointing two and a half year span as we’ve only seen “Cyborg” in the cage to defend her title twice.

Saturday night in the co-headline bout of Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Masvidal we’l see Cyborg defend her title against Hiroko Yamanaka. MMA Interviews caught up with the champion to do a brief video interview. Cyborg’s English is coming along fantastically. She even found time to talk a little about emerging star Ronda Rousey.

Check the video out:

Quotes from the interview after the jump…

I no watch the fight but I know she win. She’s a good fighter and she want to fight me? I’m ready. She talk too much. …She want to fight and Strikeforce put it? I’m ready.

I try to do a gift for Christmas for my friends and family. A big knockout!
