As with all major broadcasts for mixed martial arts, we’ll be bringing you live results and play-by-play for tonight’s M-1 Challenge 30: Zavurov vs. Enomoto II event. The card kicks off at 11 p.m. ET tonight on Showtime and features five fights on the live card.

Bao Quach vs. Alvin Cacdac – Round 1 – They trade leg kicks and now exchange punches in a flurry and Quach drives through a takedown, having the good sense to not get caught in a sloppy firefight. Cacdac tries for a sweep and Quach secures side control and tries to mount and Cacdac reverses and gets to his feet. Cacdac is trying to sit down on his right hand and now they’re flurrying back and forth. Cacdac with a big right and Quach goes down. Cacdac comes in wildly and Quach takes him down. North south choke almost finishes it but Cacdac gets out. Quach to mount and now takes an armbar. Transitioning to north-south now and then back to the armbar and Cacdac taps out. Bao Quach wins by submission (triangle armbar), round 1.
Eddie Arizmendi vs. Tyson Jeffries – Round 1 – Jeffries with a quick takedown. Arizmendi looking to control his arms and Jeffries gets loose and throws a few punches. Arizmendi throwing a lot of punches off his back. Jeffries postures up and lands a right hand but he’s really got nothing on these shots. Eventually Jeffries’ lack of doing anything results in a stand-up. Big uppercut by Arizmendi and Jeffries shoots and can’t get the takedown. Jeffries misses a wild right by a country mile. 10-9 Arizmendi. Jeffries is awful.
Round 2 – Jeffries ends up getting on top after Arizmendi looked to jump into guillotine. Jeffries moving from position to position and locks in a d’arce choke and Arizmendi is forced to tap out. That came out of nowhere. Tyson Jeffries wins by submission (d’arce choke), round 2.
Sergio Cortez vs. Alexander Sarnavskiy – Round 1 – Sarnavskiy throws a few kicks and Cortez catches one and gets the takedown. Cortez isn’t doing much but holding on so far. Sarnavskiy looks for a kimura and uses that to turn and now has Cortez’s back. Sarnavskiy with the body triangle and lets go and Cortez turtles. Sarnavskiy with a few punches and now looking for the choke again. Cortez doesn’t even try to defend and taps out. Well..that was pointless. Alexander Sarnavskiy wins by submission (rear naked choke), round 1.
Artion Damkovsky vs. Jose Figueroa – Round 1 – Figueroa runs across for a takedown and Damkovsky throws him off. Jose with a combination but doesn’t really land. Leg kick by Damkovsky. A lot of movement with neither guy really landing but now Figueroa with a right hand that gets in. Left hook by Damkovsky gets in. Right hand by Damkovsky and Figueroa slowly crumbles to the ground and Damkovsky lands another shot and it’s over. Figueroa is out of it. Artion Damkovsky wins by KO (punch), round 1. Damkovsky is signaling to his jaw, may have inured it early in the fight.
Shamil Zavurov vs. Yasubey Enomoto – Round 1 – Enomoto with a jab and he’s moving around loosely looking to get a strike in. Zavurov trying to counter but doesn’t quite have the timing figured out yet. Zavurov with a wild right hand that misses. They trade shots and Zavurov tries for a takedown and Enomoto stuffs it. Uppercuts from Enomoto. They trade again and again it’s Enomoto that gets the best of the exchange. Nicely timed right hand counter by Enomoto drops Zavurov but it was more balance than damage, but still landed and looked good. They trade near the end of the round and it’s Enomoto hurting Zavurov with an uppercut. 10-9 Enomoto.
Round 2 – Hard leg kick by Zavurov and then follows up with a sweeping punch to the side of Enomoto’s head. Zavurov sticks out his left hand and lands a wild right but the left poked Enomoto in the eye so there’s a brief break in the action. They’re back to fighting and Enomoto is trying to walk him down a bit more again. Zavurov landing more hard leg kicks. They trade wild shots but neither guy really lands. Enomoto with a few short punches and he gets in a nice right hand. Zavurov catches a kick from Enomoto and lifts the leg high, getting a takedown but almost falling into a triangle choke. Zavurov gets out and now is working hard from the top with shots to the body and head. They’re restarted for…no real reason. Zavurov looking for the takedown again and he gets it as Enomoto tries for an armlock. We’ll go 10-9 Zavurov I guess.
Round 3 – Right hand by Zavurov lands. Zavurov lands again and then Enomoto comes back with a good flurry of his own. Enomoto landing the occasional shot, but this round has slowed down considerably. Zavurov looking for a takedown and can’t get it and Enomoto is working the body while Zavurov keeps trying for the single leg. Zavurov manages to switch to a double leg and finish the takedown now. Zavurov working the body. I dunno. That was a decent round and I guess I’d give it to Zavurov.
Round 4 – Nice body kick by Enomoto. Zavurov with a big double leg now and he’s on top in Enomoto’s guard. Enomoto landing punches off his back and kicks Zavurov off and they’re back to standing. Zavurov with a takedown attempt and Enomoto looks or a guillotine but can’t finish the choke. Zavurov on top again now on the ground as Enomoto was attacking an arm. Enomoto sweeps and now he’s on top with thirty seconds left. 10-9 round for Enomoto and I have it even.
Round 5 – Both guys are pretty tired and it’s Zavurov looking for a takedown but can’t get it and Enomoto with a knee. Zavurov continuing to look for the takedown and still can’t get it. Zavurov with another failed takedown attempt. Left hand by Enomoto lands. Neither of these guys has much left. Failed takedown again by Zavurov. Enomoto locks in a choke in the last minute of the fight and Zavurov is forced to tap out. Yasubey Enomoto wins by submission (guillotine choke), round 5.
