It may be a little known fact that Benson Henderson is half-Korean. His mother’s side of the family actually still lives in Korea. So when the UFC went on a media tour to promote UFC 144 in Japan, Ben took the opportunity to spend some time in Korea before the press conference to train with the Korean Zombie and meet his mother’s family. Nightmare of Battle was the first to report on the trip abroad.

Ben got some training in at Korean Top Team with Chan Sung Jung and did some great grappling exhibition for the media in attendance and for the fighters from the gym. Ben gave the Korean fighters some great tips about his own fight preparation and then did a q&a session for the media and fighters. He talks about how he looked up to Matt Hughes and B.J. Penn because they made their opponents fight their fight.

Ben Henderson faces Frankie Edgar for the UFC lightweight belt February 26th at UFC 144.
