Spike TV will air its final prelims special on December 30th in support of UFC 141, after which all UFC programming moves permanently to Fox channels. The fights that will air on the UFC 141 prelims broadcast have now been set, with Anthony Njokuani vs. Ramsey Nijem, and Ross Pearson making his featherweight debut against Junior Assuncao being featured on the Spike broadcast. Although that lineup leaves talented fighters like Jacob Volkmann, Diego Nunes, and Dong Hyun Kim buried on the untelevised Facebook prelims, it’s pretty much expected now, that Spike will feature alums of its Ultimate Fighter series, such as Nijem and Pearson.
The UFC 141 card is now possibly complete with 11 fights, although the promotion has been running 12-fight cards for some time now, so we may see another preliminary bout as a late addition to the event. For now, the full lineup is:
PPV Main Card:
-Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem
-Donald Cerrone vs. Nate Diaz
-Jon Fitch vs. Johny Hendricks
-Alexander Gustafsson vs. Vladimir Matyushenko
-Nam Phan vs. Jim Hettes
