Hey everyone! Welcome back to another night of the live discussion of Mans…The Ultimate Fighter 14: Team Miller vs. Team Bisping! The season is for little guys who weigh 145 pounds and littler guys who weigh 135 pounds. The season thus far has been probably the best since Rampage vs Rashad both talent wise and entertainment value.
The semi-finals have just started last week with Dennis Bermudez taking on Akira Corassani in the featherweight division. In the lead up to the fight, Akira shaved a patch of hair off of Bryan Caraway’s head and Team Bisping attacked Team Miller while they were wrapping up their training session with fire extinguishers and a mariachi band. Unfortunately for Team Bisping, it turns out that the chemicals that are in fire extinguishers aren’t good for the respiratory system and the practice was canceled while the gym was aired out and cleaned.
In the fight, Bermudez was rocked on several occasions but still continually got the takedown on the Swedish fighter. In the end, it was a guillotine choke that decided the fight with Dennins Bermudez of Team Miller advancing to the finals. He will face the winner of Bryan Caraway and Diego Brandao.
The Bantamweight semi-finals kick off tonight with T.J. Dillashaw taking on Dustin Pague. The coaches challenge also takes place over a riveting game of air hockey. Tune in at 10 p.m. ET for episode 9 of the Ultimate Fighter.
