Anderson Silva Still Upset With Ed Soares, No Date For Sonnen Fight

Anderson Silva was at a NASCAR event this weekend and SB Nation NASCAR editor Jeff Gluck was able to get a few interesting comments from the UFC middleweight champion. Silva said that there is still no date for a rematch with Chael Sonnen but that he was leaving it up to the UFC and Dana White to figure that all out.

Perhaps most interesting though is that Silva is still saying, in no uncertain terms, that he is very upset with manager Ed Soares for a recent picture with Sonnen where the two appeared to be joking around.

From MMA Nation:

“It’s a problem,” Silva told MMA Nation on Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway, where he was an honorary official for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. “It’s a big problem. I don’t like the picture, I don’t like the position my manager (was in). Big problem. I don’t like it.”

Soares has attempted to smooth over the details surrounding that picture, but the fact that this has been going on for several weeks now does not bode well for the future of the fighter/manager relationship.
