UFC 131 Results: Monday Morning Wrap Up

UFC 131 is in the books. Junior dos Santos emerged as the first challenger to Cain Velasquez’ heavyweight crown by beating Shane Carwin over three rounds. Kenny Florian staked his claim to a shot at Jose Aldo’s featherweight belt by taking a decision over Aldo’s teammate Diego Nunes. Mark Munoz edged Demian Maia to advance up the middleweight ladder. Dave Herman won his UFC debut with a knockout of Jon Olav Einemo. Donald Cerrone coasted to a decision over Vagner Rocha.
