As expected, Georges St. Pierre and Jon Fitch advanced to the gold medal match. Their last fight was a five round shellacking. Has anything changed?

My Take: Put on a DVD of their last fight for an idea of how this might go.
Bronze Medal Match:
3. Thiago Alves vs. 5. Dong Hyun Kim
My Take: If you aren’t from Brazil and you are not rooting for a man named Dong – you are wrong. I’m tempted to ride Dong to the medal stand, but I just don’t think Dong can hold Alves down and impose his will. Dong will certainly try for some furious ground and pound. But Alves is too good on his feet and I can’t swallow Dong laying on top of him for 25 minutes. I like Alves here.
