Fedor Emelianenko on Training In Holland: “This Is Just the Beginning”
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Fedor Emelianenko is trying to rebound from two loses, so he decided to mix it up and leave his home country of Russia for the first time in years. He worked on his Muay Thai in Holland with guys like Ernesto Hoost and Peter Teijsse, and talked about the experience with “Iron World”:

We came to Amsterdam especially to train Thai boxing technique. To study new exercises. Holland schools are different from Russian. The main purpose is keeping these trainings in mind. Otherwise, you can spend a lot of time and energy, then go back to Russia without any results.

We try to take in maximum information and apply them on the future trainings. You can’t see any results if you just train senselessly. It doesn’t work. We have come to Holland to receive new experiences, and later, we will practice it at home. Guys will continue training with these new experiences… and this is just the beginning.
