Fight Matrix has evaluated all of this year’s contestants and this is how they rate (based purely on outcomes of previous pro fights). 1. Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson (Age: 26 Record: 10-2) – Pure Combat welterweight champion, Ferguson has won six of his past seven bouts, six of his 10 career victories by knockout or technical knockout.

8. Chris “C-Murder” Cope (Age: 28 Record: 4-1) – Strikeforce vet, trains out of The Arena gym in San Diego with Evangelista Santos and Rani Yahya, last win was by second-round head kick and follow-up punches.

9. Len “The Liger” Bentley (Age: 28 Record: 9-4) – Trains with Dennis Hallman and Brad Blackburn, eight of his nine wins have not gone the distance, has fought on Strikeforce Challengers 2.

Longshot
10. Nordin “Fist of Tangier” Asrih (Age: 32 Record: 15-6-1) – The oldest and most experienced entrant, M-1 Challenge and Cage Warriors vet, Asrih has secured more than half (nine) of his 15 career victories by submission.
 
11. Mick “The Omen” Bowman (Age: 26 Record: 7-2) – Trains at Wolfslair Academy with Michael Bisping, has never been knocked out, has rattled off four consecutive victories, all of them finishes.

12. Keon “The Black Assassin” Caldwell (Age: 26 Record: 8-1) – Stopped six opponents inside one round, lone career defeat to Dhiego Lima in 2010.

13. Zachary Davis (Age: 26 Record: 4-1) – Lloyd Irvin protégé, three-fight winning streak, Davis has never gone the distance in five professional outings.

14. Javier “Chunty Boy” Torres (Age: 25 Record: 3-0) – Trains with Shawn Tompkins in Las Vegas, Torres holds a perfect record in nine amateur boxing fights.
