UFC 130 Preview: Brian Stann Talks Jorge Santiago

“It’s a very exciting fight. I’m really honored to get a guy who is a world champion at his level. (Jorge Santiago) is 11-1 since (his last fight in the UFC) winning two different world titles in two different organizations. This is a large challenge for me. This is a guy who is ranked as high as number six in the world at middleweight, ahead of guys like (Michael) Bisping (and) Wanderlei Silva. So this is a huge opportunity for me to go in there and upset the former champion.”

“Wanderlei Silva is a legend. He can fight whoever he wants and didn’t choose to fight me. I can’t be insulted by that. But to get a shot at Jorge Santiago in his first fight in the UFC, I have to be excited for that. This guy demands attention. He’s good everywhere. This fight will be fireworks.”

May 28th, live on Pay-per-view from Las Vegas, Nevada:
