Jorge Santiago Meets Brian Stann at UFC 130 in May

Hot on the heels of news that middleweight, Jorge Santiago had once again signed with the UFC, MMA Junkie now reports that the American Top Team product has an opponent at UFC 130 on Memorial Day weekend:

After recent reports of a potential return to the UFC, Sengoku middleweight champion Jorge Santiago (23-8 MMA, 1-2 UFC) appears to have an opponent: Brian Stann (10-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC).

Sources close to the organization today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) the two middleweight are expected to fight at UFC 130.

Stann was originally expected to face Wanderlei Silva at the event, but rumors of a knee injury nagging Silva have persisted in the last few days, and combined with the “Axe Murderer’s” call-out of Vitor Belfort recently, it appears that Silva will be saved for a later event.
