Top 10 Pictures From ‘UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort’

Bloody Elbow member crazybones already gave this picture the proper treatment. I’ll just add that the best photos are often the ones that catch that split-second moment. The moment you would have missed if it wasn’t for a photographer snapping his shutter at just the right time and from just the right position. While MMA has been blessed with plenty of hardworking and talented photojournalists, the sport has been devoid of iconic snapshots. This picture struck me like the image of “Rampage” Jackson howling after knocking out Chuck Liddell at UFC 71.
