This is the best Fight Fix yet. Host Dustin Green of Comcast SportsNet in Washington, DC attended UFC 123: Quinton Jackson vs. Lyoto Machida in Detroit, Michigan and walked away with some great interviews. Green spoke briefly to Phil Davis about his north-south kimura and the wrestling standout reveals he attempts that submission all the time in training. Green spoke with now UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo about his being the champion for the division now that he’s no longer with the WEC. Green also got a comment from UFC lightweight contender Kenny Florian about what could have been in the proposed fight against Jose Aldo.
Of course, all of the major results – with FightMetric.com information and stats – from UFC 123 are included as well.
Green ends by teasing an upcoming Fight Fix where he talks to UFC President Dana White. They revisit the topic of Greg Jackson-cornered fighters and White says they have become “safety first” competitors.
