Tyron Woodley and Andre Galvao have been slated to face off in a featured welterweight bout at Strikeforce “Diaz vs. Noons 2”.
Galvao announced the matchup, whose winner will buoy into the promotion’s 170-pound title picture, on his Twitter account on Monday. Strikeforce officials said an official announcement is forthcoming.
Saturday, Oct. 9th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, live on Showtime:
– Nick Diaz vs. KJ Noons [WW Title]
– Sarah Kaufman vs. Marloes Coenen [WW Title]
– Matt Lindland vs. Luke Rockhold
