Tom Lawlor started strong in his fight with Joe Doerksen. Lawlor caught Doerksen in round one, wobbling the Canadian. “El Dirte” fought back and ended up on top of Lawlor to end the first round.
The tide had turned in the second round. Lawlor looked tired and allowed Doerksen to land a combination. Doerksen threw a kick that Lawlor caught and was taken down to that mat. Lawlor made a mistake and allowed Doerksen to take his back. With only one hook in, Doerksen locked in a rear naked choke and forced Lawlor to tap.
