As always we have our one rule: NO SPOILERS! In the interest of not ruining anything from the undercard that may make the broadcast we ask that you do not discuss the results of the undercard in the comments until either the broadcast ends or the fight makes the air.

James Irvin vs. Alessio Sakara- Round 1 -Right hand scores for Sakara early. Sakara is using movement to avoid the rush from Irvin. Leg kick knocks Sakara down but he gets right back up. Jab lands by Sakara over the punch of Irvin. Left hook/low kick combo by Sakara who looks much faster. Irvin just blodding forward and occasionally eating low kicks but getting hit by Sakara who is using a straight hit and run strategy. Left hook lands to the face of Irvin. Right hand lands for Irvin. Left hand scores again and Irvin stumbles backward and goes down. Sakara pounces and the fight is called off. Irvin appears to be saying he got poked in the eye but the replay doesn’t show any sort of poke, it just…hurt when he got punched in the eye. Alessio Sakara wins by TKO, round 1.
Cheick Kongo vs. Paul Buentello – Round 1 – Buentello doing his bouncing back and forth thing while Kongo jabs and leg kicks. Kongo with a left and then he presses him to the cage looking for the takedown. Kongo finishes the takedown and works elbows to the thigh. Buentello doing a nice job of scrambling and avoiding damage, getting back to his feet and getting dumped again. Buentello keeps looking for the kimura but doesn’t have position to do anything with it. More scrambling by Buentello and he still hasn’t taken a lot of damage but is now eating punches and knees to the body. Buentello looks like he may have hurt his hand, it’s checked and the fight is restarted. Two weird injury stoppages to start the show would have been too much. They restart standing up and Buentello is moving a lot but not landing punches. Right hand by Kongo and he gets another takedown. Knee to the body of the grounded Buentello and som punches to the body. Lack of action and they’re stood up with under 20 seconds left. They exchange and Buentello slips and gets pounded as the round ends. 10-9 Kongo on the BE scorecard. Round 2 – Kongo opening up a little bit more to start the round, thowing kicks. Both men landing now and they flurry against the cage with Kongo getting the better of it and another easy takedown. Kongo just battering him with strikes on the ground now. Buentello goes to get up and eats some knees to the body and one to the head but he had 3 points down so it’s a foul and there’s a break in the action. Herb Dean now takes a point from Kongo which, seems like a bit much…but there it is. Kongo wades in throwing punches and gets yet another takedown. Buentello has nothing for Kongo. Kongo with more knees to the body and Buentello gets up only to be taken right back down. Buentello puts a hand down to avoid knees but eats a few to the head anyway. After another brief pause Kongo starts to land punches again and gets the takedown. Now landing punches to the head. They’re stood back up again even as Kongo is doing work. Kongo throwing knees to the leg. The round ends and it’s 9-9 with the point deduction. Round 3 – It only takes 15 seconds for Kongo to clinch up and get the takedown. Kongo works a flurry of elbows to the body and Buentello is forced to tap out. Cheick Kongo wins by submission (strikes), round 3.
Junior dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga – Round 1– Feeling out early. Low kick lands hard for Gonzaga and he almost gets a takedown. Low kick by Gonzaga again and a short hook by Junior. Dos Santos opening up a little more with a punch to the body. Head kick by Gonzaga misses high. Junior with one of his own. Right hand by Gonzaga lands over the top. Glancing right by Dos Santos. High kick by Gonzaga is blocked. Punch by Dos Santos knocks him down. Gonzaga defends, but a flurry of punches by Junior and it’s over as Gonzaga is out cold. Junior Dos Santos wins by KO, round 1.
Jon Jones vs. Brandon Vera – Round 1– Jones with a leg kick and then a trip takedown within 10 seconds. Vera has full guard and is looking to control the head of Jones. Vera gets the feet on the hips and kicks off to get back to standing. Back to the clinch and Vera eats a knee to the body and gets taken down again. Back to Vera’s full guard. Left hand by Jones now. Illegal upkick by Vera lands and Jones is upset and grabbing his jaw. The action is stopped so Jones can recover. Herb Dean takes a point from Vera and puts him right back on his back to restart the fight. Elbow by Vera from the bottom. Jones working short elbows to the body. Vera’s legs are getting high as he’s looking to catch something. Jones with a few elbows A couple of which land hard, Vera turns over and eats a few punches and it’s all over! The fight is stopped. Wow, that’s a really shocking end to the fight. Jon Jones wins by TKO (strikes), round 1.
