It’s 9:00 and we’re live with SPIKE!

Tomasz Drwal vs. Drew McFedries – Round 1 – Kicks early and Drew just misses with an uppercut.  Whoa…major production issues as it just kept skipping on Spike.  We’re back to the fight and Drew with a lead uppercut.  Leg kick by Drew.  Tomaz with a lead punch that lands and Drew is bleeding a little bit.  And Drew goes past the 2 minute mark for the first time in over 2 years.  Tomasz takes Drews back standing and takes him down but can’t do anything.  McFedries stands back up but Tomaz still has his back and is landing knees to the hamstring.  They separate and both guys are landing good shots and breathing a little heavy.  McFedries with a series of power shots. They’re trading power shots here nosw.  Leg kick by Drew now is solid.  Tomaz lands hard with a right.  Both guys are landing often but not putting the other guy out.  Tomasz grabs a double and gets the takedown.  Both guys are gassed but Drew seems the worse of the two.  Ten seconds left and Tomasz takes the back.  The round ends and it was 10-9 Drwal on my card.  Round 2 – Drwal lands early and pushes Drew against the fence.  Nice takedown by Drwal and he’s in side control.  Drew is close to done.  Pass to mount and Drew rolls and gives up the back.  Drwal sinks in the choke and Drew is forced to tap.  Tomasz Drwal wins by submission (rear naked choke) round 2.

Rick Story vs. Brian Foster – Round 1 – They’re exchanging big bombs early and Foster lands a big left that forces Story to back up.  Story with a couple big shots but eats another shot.  Now a good takedown by Foster and he tries for a guillotine bu just ends up on bottom.  Story moves to side control and takes the back but Foster stands up.  Story with a double and is on top in half guard while bleeding out of his head.  Elbows from Story.  Story passes to side control for a second but Foster regains half guard.  Foster regains full guard but is still eating shots.  They stand up and again with Story getting the takedown.  Foster muscles his way back to standing and they’re throwing shots again.  Foster just misses with an uppercut.  The round ends and it was 10-9 Story on my card.  Round 2– Foster just missing with the head kick.  Story with a three punch combo and now a single leg takedown.  Story locking up an arm triangle but he’s stuck in the guard so he probably can’t finish…but as I type that Foster had to tap out.  Very hard to finish a guy with that move from inside the guard.  Rick Story wins by submission (arm triangle), Round 2.

Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller – Round 1 – Kicks missed by Cole, and now landing a couple long punches.  Efrain landing a punch after catching a kick and putting MIller down but he doesn’t follow him to the ground.  Right hand by Miller and a low kick by Escudero.  Left hook by Escudero.  Miller is keeping him outside well with kicks and punches.  Big slam by Efrain and Miller right back to his feet.  HUGE punch by Efrain and Miller is down and out!  Efrain Escudero wins by KO (punch), round 1.

Round 2 –Lopez is a little more loose here and as he throws a punch he turns away waving Miller off and you can clearly see the bone is out of place, it looks like a dislocated shoulder.  Jim Miller wins by TKO (injury), Round 2.

Martin Kampmann vs. Paul Daley – Round 1 – Kampmann pumps the jab and Daley counters with a hook.  Kampmann with a solid jab.  Left hook and a right hand by Daley.  Kampmann looking for the takedown and can’t get it and Daley lands a few shots.  Another hook lands for Daley.  Kampmann with a nice counter.  Big left by Daley.  Daley with some big power shots and Kampmann with one of his own.  Daley clearly winning the standup here.  Right hand by Kampmann.  Kampmann manages to lock up here and push Daley to the cage.  Good knee by Kmpmann and now a huge left hook by Daley and Kampmann is hurt.  Daley pours it on and the fight is stopped!  Paul Daley wins by TKO (strikes), round 1.  It was honestly a good stoppage, he was eating shots and couldn’t defend himself.  People are going to call this early but it was a good, safe stoppage.
