Full salaries for UFC 86 have yet to be released, but The Canadian Press has figures for what main eventers Forrest Griffin and Quinton Jackson reportedly earned:
Griffin made a purse of $250,000, including a $100,000 win bonus. Jackson collected $225,000. The purses do not necessarily contain other bonuses included in fighter contracts.
The two got another $60,000 apiece for winning fight of the night honours.
MMAJunkie has also confirmed the Submission, Knockout and Fight of the Night bonuses doled out after the event, which were up $10,000 from the $50,000 bonuses distributed by the UFC in June:
Forrest Griffin, Quinton Jackson, Melvin Guillard and Cole Miller each earned $60,000 “fight night” bonuses for their performances at UFC 86.
Guillard dealt Dennis Siver a brutal TKO loss at 0:36 of the opening frame, while Miller made Jorge Gurgel tap via nifty triangle choke with only seconds remaining in their preliminary bout.
Finally, MMAPayout reports that last night’s event drew the 6th largest live gate ever for a UFC event in Las Vegas at $3.2 million and 11,172 in attendance.
