MMAWeekly.com has news on the first fight signed by K-1/Hero’s. Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto will be taking on bantamweight fighter Rani Yahya at Premium 2007 Dynamite!!’s Dec. 31st show:
Rani Yahya is perhaps best known by American fans for his stint in World Extreme Cagefighting where he defeated Mark Hominick by submission at WEC 28 and then lost a Unanimous decision to Bantamweight champion Chase Beebe at WEC 30. However, this will be Yahya’s 4th fight in K-1 where he holds a 2-1 record with his only loss coming to current Lightweight champion Gesias Calvancanti.
