Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Here’s the card and my pics:
1. Jason Ireland vs. Joachim Hansen
Hansen in 2 by sub
2. Kazuo Misaki vs. Frank Trigg
I’m rooting for Misaki but picking Trigg by TKO in 3
3. James Lee vs. Travis Wiuff
Picking Wiuff by UD.
4. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou
Little Nog by decision but am hoping to see some flashy judo from Rameau.
5. Hayato “Mach” Sakurai vs. Mac Danzig
Mach by KO in 2
6. Sergey Kharitonov vs. Mike Russow
Sergey by KO in 1. Should be a massacre.
7. Mauricio Shogun vs. Alistair Overeem
Shogun by UD.
8. Takanori Gomi vs. Nick Diaz
Going out on a limb here and picking Diaz because of his size advantage.
9. Middleweight Title match: Vanderlei Silva vs. Dan Henderson
Silva by highlight reel KO in 2.

Your picks?
Update [2007-2-24 22:1:5 by Kid Nate]: Well Hansen already made me a liar by taking 3 rounds to get the sub.
Trigg is beating Misaki after 2 rounds but is looking tired.
Update [2007-2-24 22:12:14 by Kid Nate]:Well Trigg gets a UD. Good job by the American in dominating the fight. He’s officially a contender at Middleweight. Misaki was ranked at #4 in the world and Trigg punked him.
Update [2007-2-24 22:25:20 by Kid Nate]:Wow. Travis just got played. James Lee by guillotine in 1 min.
Update [2007-2-24 22:25:20 by Kid Nate]: Spilled my dang beer! Little Nog just got KO’d!!!!! Wow big left hand by Sokoudjou!
Update [2007-2-24 22:45:1 by Kid Nate]: Well I’m getting my judo fix. Mach Sakurai just planted Danzig on his face. Danzig is out of his league here, unless he can pull off a miracle. No miracle. Sakurai by KO. I’d love to see Mach beat Sherk and take the UFC belt.
Update [2007-2-24 23:11:53 by Kid Nate]: Russow impressed but Sergei wins with an armbar.
Update [2007-2-24 23:11:53 by Kid Nate]: Shogun gets the KO over Overeem. No surprises.
Update [2007-2-25 0:6:46 by Kid Nate]:Awesome first round between Diaz and Gomi. I have to score it for Gomi. Gomi has Diaz cut. Looks like all of my predictions might be wrong.
HOLY F***ING CRIPES!!! Nick Diaz recovers from a double leg take down to get a leg-shoulder lock (gogoplata?) on Gomi for the win. Diaz is now #1 in the world at lightweight!?!?!! But Gomi is still the PRIDE champ. These non-title fights suck.
Update [2007-2-25 0:6:46 by Kid Nate]:Another upset in the making? Henderson has won the first two rounds. Wanderlei should’ve fought Liddell when he had the chance.
Update [2007-2-25 0:6:46 by Kid Nate]: Henderson KO’s Silva! Best spinning back fist I’ve ever seen, followed by a combo to end the fight. Henderson is now the holder of two pride belts. Would love to see him fight Anderson Silva.
