Pride 33: Silva vs Henderson

I bagged on this fight over the weekend, but I gotta admit I’m starting to get excited.

Henderson is probably more natural at 185lbs than at 205lbs but he’s incredibly strong and showed in their first fight six years ago that he can hang with Silva.

To me the key to the win for Henderson is to reclaim his native wrestling advantage. Take the fight to the ground and punish Silva while he’s on his back. Slugging it out with Wanderlei is a sucker’s game.

For Silva, it’s routine — bait Henderson into a brawl and let the inner axe-murderer out.
